In 2016, the invite-only, private, underground podcast studio in East London was born.
The vision then, as it is now, is to champion the voices of black British creatives and amplify your collective content to the world.
Like you, THE NEW BLXCK is on a journey to connect the world to the power of your voice through storytelling; only our mission is to do it for the collective.

01
A Space That Celebrates You
Our goal is to represent a perspective of community that speaks directly to your lived experiences; to put a spotlight on you as an individual, but also to create stronger communities by increasing the opportunity to collaborate, and flourish as a collective.
02
Distrupt The Present, Look To The Future
Transparency is core to our values and so is Responsibility. We believe it is our duty to discover ways that the creator can monetise their brands and voices from within our Studio and using our Platform. We seek to make it easier for future generations to live authentically, whilst being continually recognised and rewarded for their creativity.
03
Your Legacy
The black British experience is one of, if not, the richest and nuanced offerings this nation has been gifted. For decades, our unique and collective voices have influenced every genre of music, fashion, and pop culture which has led to a huge growth in black British entertainment. More and more bright lights are lighting up this dark land and this illumination is only set to continue. We are here to empower you to leave a legacy that cannot be forgotten.

Voices of Influence
Economic- Self Reliance
A race that is solely dependent on another for its economic survival sooner or later dies.
Marcus Garvey
Self Determination
Each generation must, out of relative obscurity, discover its mission, fulfill it, or betray it.
Frantz Fanon
Unity
In all things that are purely social, we can be as separate as the fingers, yet one as the hand in all things essential to mutual progress.
Booker T. Washington
History
Of all our studies, history is best qualified to reward our research.
Malcolm X
Upliftment
…the importance of doing activist work is precisely because it allows you to give back and to consider yourself not as a single individual who may have achieved whatever but to be a part of an ongoing historical movement.
Angela Davis
Respect
Advocating the mere tolerance of difference…is the grossest reformism. It is a total denial of the creative function of difference in our lives. Difference must be not merely tolerated, but seen as a fund of necessary polarities between which our creativity can spark like a dialectic. Only then does the necessity for interdependency become unthreatening.
Audre Lorde
Responsibility
…the task ahead is great indeed, and heavy is the responsibility; and yet it is a noble and glorious challenge. A challenge which calls for the courage to dream, courage to believe, courage to dare, courage to do, courage to envision, courage to fight, courage to work and courage to achieve - to achieve the highest excellence and the fullest greatness of man. Dare we ask for more in life?
